About us

   The Mutt Hutt has been in business for over 50 years, being one of the first businesses to start up in Lompoc! Owned by Pete DeSoto, it started off as just a space for him to groom his own dogs. As friends learned of his grooming shop and talent, The Mutt Hutt blasted off into a full grooming business!

  

   Kaitlyn Miller started working at The Mutt Hutt in 2005 as a Bather/Dryer assistant. Having a strong love for animals and a natural talent for working with the dogs, Kaitlyn quickly learned over the years how to professionally groom dogs.

 

   As of 2014, Pete has set his clippers and combs aside and retired from Dog Grooming, leaving managing the business to Kaitlyn. She prides herself in keeping this 50 year old business going with the same quality Pete did for so many years.

  

   The Mutt Hutt has been known for years for its quality service at reasonable rates and will continue to offer that to customers new or old!
